Ubisoft has released a Snowdrop Tech Showcase for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, showcasing the tech in the upcoming game. The video shows many details that the developers are proud of. From the ability to propagate thousands of assets in one frame with microdata to real-time ray tracing effects, the engine has been pushed to its limits. Global illumination effects will interact with both objects and dynamic weather to produce realistic imagery.

Snowdrop?

Sounds like a ... mixed metaphor.

Would be a cool PVP or RTS game if you could play as the RDA and mow down the indigenous population, setting up industry to exploit the environment.
 
Hopefully this version of ANTHEM is better than the one that came out in 2019.
 
The footage looks nice, but good god, that one fella Sebastion Lindoff. Wasn't he in the Lost Boys movie with Kiefer?
