New BioShock Game Could Be Using Unreal Engine 4

There have been murmurings of a new BioShock game over the last year or so. We got our first credible announcement last December when 2K Games President David Ismailer revealed the formation of a new studio called Cloud Chamber. He also stated that the first project the new studio would take on would be a new BioShock game.



It’s been over seven years since the last one, BioShock Infinite, came out. With next-gen consoles on the horizon, along with highly hyped GPUs, the time is ripe to get a move on with new games. Wccftech has an update on the progress for the forthcoming game via Twitter user MauroNL. Cloud Chamber has begun hiring for the aforementioned game.

Cannot say I was losing any sleep waiting for the next Bioshock.

I kind of feel like the series ran its course, so I haven't exactly been hanging out either. It did give me a fright to read Infinite was 7 years ago. It doesn't feel that long. Where have the years gone...

I might need to go check out 2 and the sky one... I haven't played those at all but have them in my steam library.
