NVIDIA Confirms DLSS 2.0 for Death Stranding, Bringing 4K/60 FPS to All RTX GPUs

NVIDIA has confirmed that Death Stranding will support DLSS 2.0, the latest version of green team’s AI-based upscaling technology. What this means is that RTX owners will be able to enjoy Hideo Kojima’s latest title with a higher level of performance and fidelity than their graphics cards might normally allow.



According to Tom’s Hardware, which ran some early tests, DLSS 2.0 will allow even the “lowly” GeForce RTX 2060 to run the game at 4K/60FPS! Here a couple of screenshots that demonstrate how Death Stranding will look with DLSS 2.0 turned on...

Could run it at 4K/60 on a toaster if you turn down enough options.
 
It's not uncommon for me to buy a game just because it checks off a number of technological boxes that align with my rigs but I think I'll wait until more PC reviews come out for this one. I think I'll like it but reviews for the PS4 version are all over the map. At least it's off to a good start though.
