How dare I make money.
LOL
Get over yourself, dude. The world runs on electricity to make money. Our power generation is magnitudes better than it was 30+ years ago when turning off power hungry incandescent lights did matter.
Guess what else I do. I burn 20-40 gallons of gas every weekend in my boat that gets 2-4 miles per gallon. I tow it to the lake in my truck that gets 9-11 MPG. Then I bring that boat home and plug it in to a 60 AMP charger. THEN I'll get in my lifted Wrangler and go wheel off road for a whole day, burning yet more fuel. All those wasted resources, and the only thing produced was a massive smile on my face. AND GUESS WHAT! I paid for it all via mining.
So you paid for all you have by being an opportunistic carpet bagger of the digital world. Good for you man. I'm glad you are reaping successes to hold close to your hear and accomplishments you can tell your grandkids about.
"Tell us grabdpappy hax0rZ how did you make the money to pay for the boats and things we have. You must be so amazing and skilled at what you did then."
"Listen close grandkids what I did was turn on computers and buy things on credit to process online digital transactions and if I processed enough of them and they gained value because people used the services I was processing or invested in them I made lots of money."
"Oh so you're like a programmer?
"Oh no I didn't program anything."
"Oh so you helped people by running these programs on computers you owned."
"No.. I just helped people who wanted independent transactions free from oversite have them for a few years then I just let my computer to do math for others and kinda got paid for it if I was lucky."
"Oh so you're like a stock broker?"
"Uhhh no.. I worked in it and effectively gambled with skill to make this money."
"Oh.. can we do that too theh we don't need school or to contribute to society in any meaningful way too!!"
"Oh no o had a real job too this is just how I made extra money."
"Oh.. so you made extra money by running programs someone else wrote to move money for people based on the value of the stuff you ran?"
"Kinda..."
"So you're rich like a company?"
"Nope just rich like a person.. well not rich you see sometimes the things I mine failed or changed and I lost money on those. Then laws and rules changed because miners using so much power caused issues on the power grid eventually."
