NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti and GeForce RTX 3060 Graphics Cards Supply to Decrease by 50 Percent in September

Securing one of NVIDIA’s popular GeForce RTX 30 Series graphics cards is already an agonizing chore, but it may be particularly tough for enthusiasts who are trying to lock down a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti and/or GeForce RTX 3060 model in the coming weeks.



According to an insider on China’s Board Channels Forums, board partners are expecting a 50 percent or higher decrease in shipments of NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3060 Series graphics cards next month. The user didn’t elaborate on the reason behind this, but sources with VideoCardz claim that it has to do with Chinese factories closing due to coronavirus outbreaks.



The good news is that GeForce RTX 3060 Ti and GeForce RTX 3060 graphics cards shipments are expected to return to normalcy shortly afterward. Shipments for these models are expected to increase beginning in late September.

I am not surprised at all. Heck we are ordering half a million in Cisco switches and looking at a 6 month lead time on order fulfillment. Same reasons.
