NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Benchmark Lists 2.1 GHz Core Clock, 10 GB RAM

_rogame has shared what is reportedly the first public benchmark for NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card. The benchmark suggests that the GPU will flaunt a 2.1 GHz max core clock and 10 GB of memory (4750 MHz, 19 Gbps), which is 2 GB less than what the flagship RTX 3090 will have (according to Micron, at least). That core clock is also similar to what overclocked Turing cards (e.g., the RTX 2080 Ti) can manage.

Well at the moment it seems the 3080 is the successor to the 2080 Super while the 3090 is the successor to the 2080 Ti. Nothing fully confirmed, yet. That being said the 3080's 10 GB, and clock speed will further secure it as a good 1440p card for current, and forthcoming, demanding games.

I game at 1440p and the 2080 does alright but still has issues. A 3080 sounds like a good card especially if they keep it in the same 800 dollar price range.
