The GeForce RTX 5090, NVIDIA's next flagship GPU for gamers, will be more power hungry than the current flagship, the GeForce RTX 4090, according to further rumors shared today that claim the Blackwell flagship will consume up to 600 watts of power.

A generational improvement of 10% at what.. 100 watts more on average? or is that peak?

Who thinks the price is going to go up my more than 10%?

Only way this is a win is if the 5090 comes DOWN to at least 1200.

If this is true I may go back on my word on the 4090 being my last gaming GPU and get a 5080 for less power consumption.

Another take. 5080

As long as AMD can't compete at the high end, nvidia will continue to dictate price.

It's not only the model number, but also the price. /s
