NVIDIA will supposedly launch a new version of the GeForce RTX 3080 in January 2022 that features additional memory. This is according to sources with VideoCardz, which claim that the revised graphics card will utilize a GA102-220 GPU along with 12 GB of GDDR6X memory. This is 2 GB more than the current GeForce RTX 3080.
