NVIDIA Reveals GeForce RTX 4060 Is Up to 1.7x Faster Than GeForce RTX 3060, as Dying Light 2 Gaming Power Comparison Video Shows Off Its Efficiency

NVIDIA has published a new article that can confirm the GeForce RTX 4060 will be released on June 29, starting at $299, and with it comes a set of slides that demonstrate how the latest Ada Lovelace GPU aimed at 1080p gaming should compare to its predecessors. According to one slide titled "Better Performance," GeForce RTX 4060 users can expect up to 1.7x greater performance than the GeForce RTX 3060, although that's with DLSS 3 Frame Generation enabled. (With Frame Generation off, the GeForce RTX 4060 is 1.2x faster.) NVIDIA has also shared a Dying Light 2 video that shows the GeForce RTX 4060 achieving greater FPS than its predecessors while drawing less power.
