There is such a delta between the 5080 and 5090 i don't understand why they wouldn't bump core counts with this refresh.

Then again... qc isn't the best with nvidia cards so meh.... more interested in tne amd 9090xt.

The 5080 supposedly is the full chip, so they would need rejects from the 5090 to make 5080 supers then, maybe we will get a 5080ti super duper?

Huh, didn't know or forgot that. I guess that also explains why the 5070 Ti isn't getting a bump up as well since it would further encroach on the 5080 and both use the same die.
