Ewan McGregor has announced that his Obi-Wan Kenobi series will no longer premiere on May 25 as originally intended. Instead, the show will debut two days later, on May 27. Disney is making up for the delay by premiering Obi-Wan Kenobi with not one, but two episodes. The show will be exclusively available to stream on Disney+.

One possible belief is that Disney wanted it closer to a planned SW celebration event that's happening that weekend and the 27th is a Friday.
