We're continuing our Monthly Retro Gaming Night series, bringing the community together for classic multiplayer mayhem while raising awareness for distributed computing through BOINC!

What's This All About?
Each month, we host a dedicated game night featuring a carefully selected old-school multiplayer title. This month: the legendary Unreal Tournament from 1999! Fast-paced arena combat, classic game modes like CTF and Domination, and those unforgettable weapon combos.

Whether you're a BOINC team member, curious about distributed computing, or just want to frag like it's 1999, you're welcome! Our server supports the BOINC platform - learn how you can contribute your idle computing power to scientific research while taking breaks between matches.

Installation:

1. Download the installer from the link above
2. Follow the installation directions on the site
3. Open the game and go to Multiplayer
4. Either browse for "Frags 4 FLOPS - BOINC Retro Night" in the server list
5. Or direct connect to: 205.209.111.211:7777
6. Jump in and start fragging!

I'll be on all day, morning, day, evening and night.

Just a reminder that it's probably a good idea to get the game downloaded, installed and connect to the server to make sure everything works before the day of. Juts in case something isn't right you'll have time to get it fixed.

So very tempted for this one... I recall it well. With the big balloon head effect too right?

Not familiar with that mutator, but it might be the FatBoy mutator, but I think that makes your whole body swell up if you're doing good and shrink to skin and bones if you're doing bad. Wont be running that.

Trying to keep it as close to vanilla game play as possible. Just deathmatch and capture the flag for the default game types, but I also have jailbreak loaded on the server. Its not a default game type, but that is one of the best game types built for UT that looks like it belongs in vanilla UT.

its running map vote, so the players can vote whtaever they want to play.

Its got
Regular weapons on Deathmatch, Capture the Flag or Jailbreak
Instagib weapon on Deathmatch, Capture the Flag or Jailbreak

So 6 different ways to play depending on what's voted. So far most people just play regular weapons deathmatch.
