Complementing the full restoration of the Director’s Edition of Star Trek: The Motion Picture for its streaming service, Paramount+, Paramount has confirmed that the first four Star Trek films will also be getting the 4K Ultra HD treatment on physical media. Dubbed Star Trek: The Original 4-Movie Collection, the new box set will contain newly remastered 4K versions of Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, and Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home with Dolby Vision and HDR10. BTW Amazon has had the real director's cut of Wrath of Khan in 4K/HDR for about a year now. I say 'real' because the Paramount BD from a few years back was missing a scene towards the end featuring Kirk/Spock that had been on the DVD.

On a side note, and I try not to comment on such things, but man the disc cover art is horrid. Such a shame since I saw they're reissuing them on BD around the same time again and using original theater poster art.
