Popular overclocker Roman “der8auer” Hartung has managed to set a new GPU clock speed world record by overclocking a PowerColor AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT Liquid Devil Ultimate graphics card to a stunning 3.225 GHz. The achievement was made possible with the help of liquid nitrogen and a new pre-binned variant of the Navi 21 GPU (XTXH), which is currently exclusive to just two cards on the market (PowerColor Ultimate, ASRock OC Formula). Hartung’s system comprised an ASUS Apex motherboard, 11th Gen Intel Core i9-11900K processor, and Corsair Hydro X Series XC7 RGB CPU water block.
