GIGABYTE has announced that HiCookie, one of the world's more successful overclockers, has set a new memory record of DDR-10600 on the Z890 AORUS TACHYON ICE, one of the company's first premium motherboards for Intel Core Ultra (Series 2) processors.

So THAT is who you have to be to get these XOC boards before the manufacturers even list them on their sites...

Well the platform has to be good for something.
Intel could drop the E-cores and replace them with L3 cache at any time and win the 'gaming CPU' race. Such CPUs, like the X3D desktop single-CCD releases, would only really be good for gaming though, and we know that Intel's ROI just isn't here (otherwise they'd have dropped that hammer long ago).
