Overwatch 2 Ditches Loot Boxes for Battle Pass, In-Game Shop

Blizzard has confirmed that Overwatch 2 will not feature loot boxes, a significant change from its predecessor that allowed players to pay cash to unlock cosmetics for customizing the appearances of Tracer, D.Va, and the rest of the franchise's colorful roster of heroes.
