Pixar’s Lightyear Crashes at the Box Office, Stomped by Jurassic World: Dominion

Lightyear has failed to impress at the box office, collecting just $51 million from 4,255 North American theaters in its opening weekend, according to the latest tallies from entertainment publications that include Variety, which has called the ticket sales for Pixar's Toy Story spinoff lackluster and disappointing for one of the world's most recognizable animation studios.

Yeah, we didn't expect any same-sex stuff in this film until we were in line (I mean, it's PIXAR) and a couple approached us after they'd watched it.

I'm kind of surprised they would go that route. But at this point I'm over it. Unless it is with grandkids the last few pixar movies have held no interest to me.

sorry, won’t be heading to the theater with unvaccinated kids. The youngest can get his shot in a couple of days, so in 2 months I might be game to try a movie at the theater.
