Somewhere between connecting a new LG UltraGear monitor and opening a game, Windows apparently decided the customer also needed a McAfee advertisement. Funny. This crap is installing the exact crap it's supposed to block. Go figure.
 
I swear that McAfee is everywhere these days when it comes to bloatware. Seems like every time I turn a corner I'm either having to say no during an install of just about anything anymore. Really makes you wonder what deals are getting made to spread their, ahem, presence.
 
Microsoft needs to clamp down on this. They let manufacturers put just about anything into the auto-install packages when their hardware IDs are detected - I remember writing this up for a vulnerability when Razer's software would allow for a privileged terminal when their software autoinstalls!
