PO'd, a DOOM- and Quake-inspired boomer shooter that originally launched for Panasonic, GoldStar, Sanyo, Creative Labs, and Samsung's 3DO consoles nearly 30 years ago in November 1995, will officially be making its way to PC and modern consoles "soon" as part of a new Definitive Edition that brings updated visuals, antialiasing, increased framerate, redefined controls, up to 4K 144 FPS performance, widescreen support, and more to Any Channel's FPS, developer Nightdive Studios has announced.

I don't know many actual boomers that game.
When I see the phrase “Boomer Shooter” I think Space Invaders, not Quake.

In common parlance "Boomer" has nothing to do with "Baby Boomers" anymore

Kids use that term "boomer" for pretty much anyone born "in the 19 hundreds". You know, before the year 2000. :p

Yes, they are idiots, but that's where we are.
