I just don't know... I would want ships with turrets that my friends can man and fire for me. I know it's super next gen... but star citizen actually kind of does it so I'd hope EA would be able to fund a game that can give us that.

I have a sneaky feeling this will be just like starfighters on BF2 except they will charge us $60 instead of a DLC. I want to have hope that it will be awesome, I loved x-wing/tie-fighter... but it's EA so they will find a way to cock it up

Really looks like it's going to be a 5v5 arena type game, which Burticus hits on, sounds more like a BF2 add-on than a new LucasArts X-Wing.

Yeah, not nearly so interested if it's just a handful of PVP maps and no campaign/story.

I agree. I hope its good but EA has earned a bad reputation since BF2. I was a huge fan of Rogue Squadron back in the day. First played it on a N64, with expansion pack, and PC thereafter. Loved the X-Wing games as well. If they could do this right they'd win a lot of fans back.
