Proton, a compatibility layer that Valve introduced in August 2018 to allow Windows games to run on Linux-based operating systems, now includes support for NVIDIA DLSS Frame Generation, according to the changelog for a new experimental update that notes added support for not only NVIDIA Optical Flow API, but also DLSS 3 Frame Generation.

Oh that's interesting. I can't use it cuz I am on Ampere, and also cuz I don't give a f*ck about frame generation, but still, always nice to see more gaming-related tech supported on Linux. I'm still waiting for nVidia's VSR to get Linux support. The first iteration or two of that wasn't great, but they really improved the tech, and it's pretty dang good now. I've never gotten it to work with Firefox though. I've tested it in Edge and Ungoogled Chromium on Win10.
