Recommend me a mousepad...

I'm taking the varnish off my wooden desk with no mousepad for over a year now, got tired of them...Always dirty, floppy, wrinkly bendy garbage.
Mostly use pen/tablet input for work but still of course mouse a lot, especially gaming.
Mouse is a Logitech 600 "MMO" type deal, corded.

Need something easy to clean that retains it shape and is not too thick.
Pref a solid color.

I have had the Logitech G440 for about 5 years now and it has done quite well. Price seems up a little bit - I paid $20.99, but that was likely during one of the Logitech deals of the day (as I also got a G930 on the same order).
 
I would recommend you the following options. All are pretty good.

Corsair MM600: The best gaming mouse pad for most users.
SteelSeries QcK: The best budget gaming mouse pad.
Razer Sphex v2: A minimalist's dream and ultra-thin gaming mouse pad.

Now I use it as a test surface/tray when testing motherboards before I install them. I suppose if I am desperate one day I can use it as a cutting board (inside joke har har)

Mine is still a daily driver. I wonder how many mouse miles I've put on this thing
 
I've still got 2 ratpadz laying around, I really should dig them back up. I think I put it away when I had an optical mouse that had some tracking issues with the matte black surface (it was a sh!tty mouse). Anyways, I don't really have a huge preference on mouse pads though, I found a few medium sized Blackweb mouse pads on sale at walmart for $2.50 each and ended up buying like 6 of them at the time and they do what they are supposed to do. My kids have some of the larger stuff like 1/2 desk and full desk sized pads that they seem to like. My middle child (oldest daughter) has an RGB razer mousepad, it's nothing fancy, but she likes it, although if you play a lot, the edges can get really annoying.

I haven't tried a "whole desk" thing, but I do use 3 of the big steelseries on my desk, spaced out. But also that is 2 keyboards and 2 mice. They also serve as drink coasters and sometimes placemats, and they clean up easily with a damp rag. I thought about throwing one into the washing machine, but I was afraid the rubber/fabric would separate.

Yeah, my son has one of that's like 3 feet wide and 1.5 feet deep or something rediculous (hyper-x).... Hard to keep the monitors far enough back to not sit on it, but he has his keyboard and mouse on it with plenty of room to spare and it do with shift around when he's playing. I know mine is slightly larger but not rediculous and it can slide a bit while doing things (it was however $2.50 so I can forgive it for not being top quality).

My wife's is similar to your son's... and pink!

So is her keyboard and mouse (Ducky and Model O-).

On the subject of mouse pads or mats themselves, having used all of them, most of the time a desk surface suffices. for gaming you tend to want something slicker like a metal plate with Teflon coating or a stick-on Teflon sheet (what I'm using right now), and for 'work' you usually want a cloth surface for more control. Though obviously one can adjust to either for either purpose as most of us have over the years :).
 
So, I've been using the big non-fray Corsair mouse pads for awhile now. About a year and a half I think. When you use a computer as much as I do, they do in fact fray. I'm on my second one now.

Rat Padz don't fray ;). In all seriousness though, I haven't found a mousepad that doesn't fray overtime that's cloth/rubber of any sort. These cheap ones I've been using have been holding up pretty well, although I do more development/modelling on my PC than I do gaming, so not as rough on my stuff, although this one has some small fray's, but not enough to affect it much. The worst is the bottom isn't that 'sticky' and I catch myself having to re-position my mouse pad constantly throughout the day. I really should take some alcohol or something to the bottom and see if it'll clean up and leave it a bit more sticky or something so it stays put.

I've worn those out too. I literally wore a spot in the left center of the mouse pad. I spend upwards of 12-20+ hours a day on my machine. There isn't a mouse, keyboard, mouse pad or chair that can handle that on a daily basis forever.
