Konami has had an strange fascination with Pachinko games over the past decade, but the game developer is finally beginning to regain its senses to better leverage the untapped potential of some of its legendary franchises. This is according to a new report from VGC, whose sources claim that Konami is genuinely dusting off Metal Gear, Castlevania, and Silent Hill with a series of exciting projects.
According to VGC’s report, one of Konami’s biggest upcoming games will be a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. This is contrary to previous rumors that suggested Bluepoint Games is working on a remake of the original Metal Gear Solid. Sources claim that the remake is actually being helmed by a studio called Virtuos.
