Something that Call of Duty fans have been able to count on every year is the release of an exciting new installment in the long-running FPS franchise, but that tradition will soon be broken, according to a new report shared by Bloomberg. Sources with the publication say that Activision has decided to delay its Call of Duty game planned for next year, an indication that 2023 will the first year in nearly two decades to lack the release of a new mainline Call of Duty title. Microsoft’s plan to acquire Activision for $69 billion reportedly has nothing to do with the decision.

Yeah every year was too much. Vanguard was recycled hot mess. Every other year would be fine with me, and there is always warzone for those needing a fix whenever.

I fell for buying Vanguard. Thought it would be good, but I was mistaken.

Yeah, go back to the drawing board and rethink what you are doing. Vanguard basically tried to be battlefield, and the one before didn't even have single player. Booo

I've played through every CoD single player since the game came out, except for Vanguard. What a piece of hot garbage.
I mainly play offline against bots anymore. The biggest disappointment to me was how small the multiplayer maps are and there is no control on how many bots you can play against. Most maps are for 10 players or under and they auto-fill with what seems like 20 bots, which just doesn't make it very fun at all.

Not that big a deal to me. I am ashamed to admit that COD is pretty much the only game I play anymore and since they're keeping MW, CW and Vanguard regularly updated and refreshed, I still feel like I've got plenty of content to keep me happy.

It's funny because I used to make fun of gamers that only played COD and Battlefield while I was perfectly happy on my single player games. Now I'm one of them lol

Last one I played was WWII, I mostly played the single player so once they stopped that I stopped playing.
