Resident Evil: Death Island Trailer Teases Jill Valentine

Kadokawa Animation has shared the first official teaser trailer for Resident Evil: Death Island, a new animated feature based on Capcom's survival horror series that stars Leon Kennedy and Chris Redfield, who must now fight their way past monsters and other bioweapons in San Francisco and Alcatraz Island. While the new trailer only comprises around 30 seconds of footage, it can confirm the appearance of Jill Valentine, one of the franchise's most popular characters that hasn't been playable in a mainline RE title since Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition, not counting 2020's Resident Evil 3 remake. A sequel to 2017's Resident Evil: Vendetta, Resident Evil: Death Island is scheduled for release in the summer of 2023.
