Have you ever wanted to buy an Aeron chair specially designed for esports and professional streaming? That may be possible soon.

Herman Miller has announced that it has formed a partnership with Logitech’s gaming division to create “high-performance furniture solutions for gamers.” Their first product, a gaming chair, will launch in the spring this year.

It’s official, we’ve joined forces with @HermanMiller to work on high-performance furniture for gamers. Find our more at: https://t.co/P1pyLVfYQS...

Yea screw that noise. Herman Miller makes great chairs but if I'm not picking it up for a couple hundred at auction you can **** sure bet I'm not dropping a G on a new one.

Honestly, I've used those chairs and was not impressed.
This is pure gimmick and disco lights.......all for more money than it will be worth.

We have them in our main conference room and the back supports make it difficult for me to sit in them for an hour. My computer chair is wood with a thin cushion and wicker back.

Herman Miller Aeron chairs are most certainly the chair to end all chairs. There is nothing else on the planet that comes even close.

They don't make for good conference room chairs though, as you need to have them adjusted to your size and shape for best effect.

If the adjustments are off, you might as well use a much cheaper chair as they aren't going to have the desired effect.

A side bonus is that the Aeron chairs last for bloody ever. If you buy one, you are unlikely to need another for decades.

I have sat in one and I didn't find it comfortable. We have knockoff ones at the office and they look similar (HON, and those aren't cheap either, prolly $500 a chair) and they piss my back off big time.

At home I sit in a $150 ($200 with a coupon/sale) Staples chair and it's fine. Not great, but fine. No worse than x10 the price

I'm not interested in spending $2,000 on a chair. That's for sure.

Oh I'm sure it's more than 2k. I've got the top of the line tank looking monster at work. They started me off on a Aeron and that thing was terrible, so I got an upgrade to the Embody. Runs near 2k. I thought it was overpriced too until a few weeks ago a coworker showed me how to adjust the back support. I'm a huge dude and that chair works. If they're making a gaming focused one I'm sure it'll target streamers with money. It's going to be comfortable af and expensive to match.

With that said, spend money on ergonomics! Buy a nice mattress, get a good chair. If you have a on your *** all day job like me, you'll probably live longer as those 2 things alone might be used up to 16 hours a day or literally 60% of your time alive.
My car looks like ****, my bed frame is just some metal from Amazon that keeps it high, but the mattress is memory foam and the pillow too. I've tried to make life actually comfortable. Spend that money were it has impact.

I dont mind at all spending money on quality products that last. Be it a chair or desk or what have you. I could spend $2K+ on a chair, but it would have to convince me it’s worth it over burning through cheapy OfficeMax chairs every four to five years.

My current Serta chair hasnt been half bad for comfort, didn’t break the bank, but isn’t exactly extraordinary when it comes to build quality or longevity.... it’s just been adequate and comfy for a decent price

Most people I talk to who pick up Aeron chairs for home get them used. There is no foam and they are easily cleaned, so no sanitary concerns.

That and they last forever. So why spend more on a new one when an old one will outlive you anyway.

I got mine (vintage unknown) a C size (usually the most expensive) for $275 on Craigslist. It was originally in an office that shut down. It had been serving me very well.
