No patent/trademark court is going to side with Rockstar on this one. Those are completely different logo's.

To be fair they are doing them a favor by forcing them to change it, that logo is awful.

Joking aside, their lawyers on retainer probably ran out out of teenagers to sue.

Joking really aside they borrowed monster's playbook, who also tried to copyright a common word and the letter M.
