Rumor: Sony Developing Wireless Earbuds for PlayStation 5

PlayStation may be planning to expand its family of PS5 peripherals with new audio products that go beyond the PULSE 3D Wireless Headset. According to an exclusive report from Insider Gaming's Tom Henderson, Sony is developing new wireless earbuds (Project Nomad) and another wireless headset (Project Voyager) for PS5, both of which are scheduled for release toward the end of FY23 (April 2023–March 2024). Considering those previous rumors of PlayStation releasing a new PS5 console with detachable disc drive in September 2023, there is now speculation that Sony may be plotting a major relaunch of its gaming system during that time frame.
