Samsung Announces ViewFinity S9 5K Monitor with 4K Camera and Smart Calibration

The ViewFinity S9 (S90PC) will be available for purchase in August on Samsung.com and at select retailers nationwide for $1,599.99, Samsung has announced. This is a 5K (5,120 x 2,880) monitor that features a 27-inch IPS panel, built-in 4K SlimFit camera, and support for a Smart Calibration feature controlled via smartphones.

Wait what.... a calibration feature that's going to count on my smartphone having non touched up color recognition?

Are there smartphones that take non modified RAW data pictures with accurate color to the point of calibrating something to be as color accurate a possible?

I question that... (Yes I know you can take RAW photos with some smart phones, my issue is the color accuracy of the pictures. Modifications of results based on reflected light and lit emitted and so on.)
