I just don't see the benefit really. Any folding phone I've seen just feels gimmicky - the screen felt like cheap plastic because it has that fold in the middle.

If it came away a bit like Surface Duo did, where yeah, there is a hinge and there are just two screens on either side, then maybe. Yeah there's a bezel/hingle mechanism in the middle, but I would take that over a crappy plastic screen that has a crease you can't smoothly work over anyway and delaminates in a few weeks. The Duo, unfortunately, was a bit big to be a phone and a bit small to be a tablet...
