Seagate has announced that it has begun shipping the Exos X24 to key customers ahead of its availability in volume for channel distribution in December. This new hard drive, which Seagate says is its highest density HDD ever, is a new 7200 RPM, enterprise-class hard drive that features 10 disks, delivering 2.4 TB each, for a total storage capacity of 24 TB. The Exos X24, which is also available in 20 TB, 16 TB, and 12 TB capacities, is a conventional magnetic recording (CMR) drive, as shown in Seagate's "Which Drive Has What?" page.

Samsung introduced some 32TB nvme drives a few years ago.... I suppose this is good for low speed long term storage.
