Seagate has announced that the Lightsaber Collection Special Edition FireCuda PCIE Gen4 NVMe SSD is available now for $184.99 (1TB) and $289.99 (2TB). The SSD features three interchangeable faceplate designs that honor three of the Star Wars franchise's most popular characters (Obi-Wan Kenobi, Darth Vader, and Luke Skywalker), as well as RGB LED lighting and a unique loading mechanism and heatsink that was designed by EKWB. Users can expect read speeds of up to 7,300 MB/s, but a motherboard with 5V addressable header is required for LED control.

I'm a sucker for that kind of stuff externally. I still want that external SSD that looks like a brick of beskar. But internal... I don't see the flipping point.
