A sealed copy of Super Mario Bros. has sold for $660,000. Rated 9.6 A+, this is an extremely rare fourth edition that doesn’t feature the “Game Pak NES-GP” logo on the box and was only made for a short time in 1986. It breaks the record previously set in July 2020 by a US version of the game that sold for $114,00. Another was set in November 2020 when a copy of Super Mario Bros. 3 went for $156,000. The legendary “Nintendo PlayStation” SNES CD-ROM Console also recently sold for $360,000 at auction. It might be a good time to see if you’ve got any iconic games still in their box...
