I've seen some are making 3000 watt power supplies for dual 5090 support (or more blackwell 6000 support). So this doesn't surprise me.

Servers with multiple big compute cards in them need tons of power.. many running 4 psu units with minimum failure capacity. This is something the market will want on a 30amp or even larger solution.
