Sony Pictures Core App Launches for PS5 and PS4, Delivering 100 Ad-Free Movies for PS Plus Premium and Deluxe Members

PlayStation has announced that the new Sony Pictures Core app, a rebranded version of Bravia Core, is being rolled out to PS5 and PS4 consoles in select markets. The new app allows PlayStation owners to buy or rent 2,000 movies straight from their consoles, which, according to images that were shared today on PlayStation.Blog, include The Equalizer with Denzel Washington, Gran Turismo, and many other releases that have since hit VOD, while PlayStation Plus Premium/Deluxe members will get access to a curated catalog of up to 100 movies, ad-free. Sony Pictures Core is available starting today for PlayStation players in 23 markets globally and can be found in the Media and PS Store sections on PS5 and PS4, respectively. The app also provides exclusive access to select Sony Pictures films.
