Star Trek: Lower Decks Showrunners Inform Fans That the Next Season Will Be Its Last

Showrunners Mike McMahan and Alex Kurtzman have announced that the fifth season of Star Trek: Lower Decks will be its last. The final season is set to begin streaming on Paramount+ sometime this fall. McMahan and Kurtzman updated on the show's status Friday thanking fans and crew for all the support the series has received. They also added that, unlike some content that manages to disappear from streaming services, all episodes of the show will remain on Paramount+.
