Star Wars Outlaws, the first-ever open-world Star Wars game, will feature a special 21:9 cinematic mode that creates a widescreen effect, one that replicates the lenses that George Lucas and other filmmakers used when shooting the original, classic film trilogy (i.e., A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi), according to several hands-on reports that have surfaced online for the game today, including one from PlayStation that explains how its developer, Ubisoft's Massive Entertainment, has designed the game to be very authentic to the source material.

Makes sense. The graphics quality for Kay Vess looks about as outdated as the original trilogy as well. Ought to be a perfect match. :p
