The Steam Controller 2, a sequel to the original peripheral that Valve launched for PC gamers in November 2015, is currently in development with several new features and improvements, including symmetrical thumbsticks and updated track pads, according to a mockup of the controller that has surfaced online.

I bought two of the old ones for like $5 during the fire sale when they were being discontinued.

That was YEARS ago, and I still haven't opened them :p

I too bought mine when it was $5, and I've never used it. I've opened it, looked at it, held it, but never actually used it. Same thing with Steam Link, which I think was $10. I tried it out once. My brother used it one time though, when he was visiting from the other side of the country. He wanted to use my desktop PC to game while I was asleep, so he used the Steam Link device to access it remotely from another room over the LAN.
