Tesla-Branded Audio Equipment Could Be on the Way

Tesla is interested in entering the audio equipment business.



That’s according to a new trademark application spotted by an Electrek reader, which can confirm that the company is considering expanding its trademark from electric vehicles to a range of audio gear that includes headphones, speakers, and more. These items would presumably be sold through the official Tesla shop, which already offers various items that range from athletic wear to ATVs designed for children.



“TESLA trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of microphones; headphones; earphones; digital audio players; sound transmitting apparatus; audio speakers; subwoofers; earpads for headphones; audio interfaces; audio equalizer apparatus; horns for loudspeakers; megaphones,” reads a portion of Tesla’s new trademark filing.



There’s no indication on how far Tesla might be willing...

Can’t for the life of me figure out why.
 
What? No solar? What's the catch? Batteries start on fire, cost 18k to replace?

Sure, no cybertruck, no where near FSD ( Mercedes already has some real FSD in Germany) cars look the same for 10 years but branding junk no problem. Tesla is becoming a beta release car company. They have to fire Elon. Its time. I think they have outgrown him in many ways.
