Warner Bros. finally released its long-awaited Matrix fourthquel—The Matrix Resurrections—in theaters and HBO Max last week, and while the movie has received mixed responses thus far over its meta nature and arguably tame action scenes, its stars are seemingly quite enthusiastic about the chances of a sequel.
Those would include franchise star and Thomas Anderson/Neo himself, Keanu Reeves, who told Gamespot in a recent interview that he would be totally open to reprising the role again in what could ultimately be a new trilogy for the franchise. The original Matrix from 1999 remains one of the best projects that Reeves has ever been involved with over the course of his lengthy acting career.
