Ubisoft has shut down a report from AntiDRM that suggested Ubisoft account holders who don't log into their account for an extended period of time are at risk of losing their entire game libraries. In an email to IGN, the company explained that while it does, in fact, delete inactive accounts to satisfy certain requirements of the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which includes how long companies can store personal information, accounts with purchased games are not included as part of that process. Ubisoft also noted that warning emails are sent 30 days before any account is terminated.
