VESA has introduced the new DisplayHDR True Black 600 performance tier for OLED and other emissive display technologies. The new tier offers higher luminance than the existing DisplayHDR and DisplayHDR True Black 400 and 500 tiers. OLED technology has continued to increase in popularity as costs decrease.



As display manufacturing processes continue to be refined and evolve, it is expected that more manufacturers will adopt the new standard. ASUS has already announced that its Vivobook Pro 14, Vivobook Pro 14X and Vivobook 15 laptops are the first to be DisplayHDR True Black 600 certified...
