I had a pair of 20" (4:3) flat panel LCDs back in 2000. Their glory days are behind them, I think, because their recent offerings (say, in the last 10 years) have easily been eclipsed by other, less expensive but just as high quality (if not higher quality), brands.

I remember Viewsonic being a decent brand back in the 90's. But that was a long time ago now, and I'm not sure the brand is as highly regarded as it once was.

Yeah, those days were the CRT era, and good gawd did they make some awesome CRTs.

Also I remember the Viewsonic VX922 as the first LCD panel I didn't absolutely hate (this was back during the TN-only days). My friend had one of those. Still, I didn't come around on LCDs until VA and especially IPS started taking off. I never wanna see a TN panel ever again.
