I downgraded recently. 1080ti-->2060-->1060

The 1060 still does me plenty good @ 1440p for the 20 minutes a week I game. Just turn everything to low and I get 60-80 fps in BFV and COD BO4.

I don't think it unlocks all the CU's but allows for higher voltage and clocks? I'm thinking of doing this also, haven't read a whole lot on it tho.

Yes you are right it allows for the voltage to be increased to the HBM to enable higher overclocking.

PNY RTX 2070 OC, With 4K LG 32" and 1080P Dell 27" monitors.

Games include WoW, D3, NMS, Conan Exiles, And a bunch of other ARPG and turn based games. Also Quake II RTX in 1080P lately for my frag fix.
Nothing over 60fps. But maybe one day I'll get a nice 1080P 120Hz to replace the 60Hz Dell I have.
