Windows 11 Adoption Has Been Outpaced by Windows 10 21H2

It doesn’t look like Window 11’s stringent requirements are working in Microsoft’s favor, as the latest Windows usage report from AdDuplex has revealed that the modern OS’s adoption is being outpaced by Windows 10’s latest update, Windows 10 21H2. Despite being released under a similar time frame, Windows 11 has only managed to capture the attention of around 19% of Windows users since October 2021, while Windows 10 21H2 slipped past that figure this month by attaining a total usage share of 21%. The most popular modern version of Windows remains 21H1, which sits at 27.5%.







Windows 11 is now on nearly 20% of PCs...

Where is Windows 7 and 8 from the chart? Don't tell me they don't exist anymore.

And BTW, I get the ukrainan flag reference, but it doesn't make for a very readable pie chart. Like changing the color of a chart makes any difference, sigh... The virtue signalling is getting desperate these days.

Didn't another survey like last month claim windows 11 adoption rate was amazing. Sigh..
 
Just imagine the facepalm moment during the weekly morning team meeting.
Team leader - "O.k. folks we're losing momentum and something else is outpacing us in adoption"
Random employee - "Alright, who did we lose out to?"
Team leader - "An update for the old OS"
Facepalms for all :)
