Writer for Alien TV Series Says It Won’t Be about Ripley

Fargo writer Noah Hawley recently gave an interview about his new Alien series. He wants to take the franchise in a new direction with a focus on the inequality between the workers for future megacorps and the higher-ups running them. The new series will not be focused on Ripley. Similar concepts were also seen in the popular Alien Isolation game based on Ripley’s daughter, Amanda. Two scripts have been written, and production is planned for spring 2022 after special effects preparation.
