LOL, are you having a bad day or something?
Those are two different comments, with two different subjects. And both are true statements, a mechanical / analogue watch in my ear would drive me nuts, and I can hear a ticking clock from two rooms away. There was no narrative, outside of 27dB not being silent judging by how much noise a claimed 19dB fan makes.
It's those special sound amplifying walls they use where MadMummy lives. No it's not. You clearly mentioned "clock" because of the previous watch comments being 27db if placed against your ear.
Then you claim you can hear a "clock" from 2 rooms away.
No one claimed a clock is 27 db.
It is claimed that a watch is 27db if placed against your ear.
You have no idea what you are talking about. Clearly you don't own any "noise measuring equipment" and clearly every marketing statements on every packaging in the entire world is 100% fact and never bent in a way to make the product sound better than it is.
27db is barely audible and you're not hearing it from 2 rooms away. Period.
A quiet library is considered to be around 40 db.
A person whispering is considered to be around 30 db.
So you can hear someone whispering inside a library from outside the library, as long as the door is open? Yeah right. lmao
