DRAM Prices Skyrocket to a Record 171% YoY Level as Shortages Continue amid Increased Demand from AI-Driven Applications

I forget in which link I saw it, but some folks in the industry are finally ponying up that its not necessarily a 171% increase YoY, but closer to 246%, something more than a few of us in this thread have personally stated already. Things we got at the end of the summer are closer to 3x in price now.

Of course they'd say that. "Don't wait for prices to go back down, buy while they're sky high!" It's almost as if they had a vested interest.

I have two middle fingers to give them, nothing else. I'll sit here popcorn at the ready waiting for their precious bubble bath to spring a leak. And then I'll enjoy watching the rats scurrying, but I'll still won't buy. I'll not buy until they are on all fours begging, grasping for air and only after they are fully enveloped by the disaster of their own making, then I'll consider buying, if I feel like it.
