NVIDIA Denies EOL Rumors for GeForce RTX 50 Series, Lays Blame on Memory Supply Shortages, While AMD Says It’s Working to Keep Its GPUs at MSRP

Yeah, its just one plug pull away from being dead.

Intel, yeah, they're pretty much hosed on the consumer level thanks to all this crap, but Steam will at least be able to launch the fancy wireless VR headset.

I sure hope so. That's the only thing I care about.

No individual snowflake believes it is responsible for the avalanche.
Really.. So Nvidia with the AI boom is equal to every other piece of that avalanche hurtling down the mountain? Really? ;) That's like saying all of the vehicles in the pileup did damage but ignoring the single 80 thousand pound semi truck.

Sad but true. Glad I got most of my upgrades finished last spring because it's beginning to look like they're going to have to last for years to come.

Not that I agree with the whole situation, but from Nvidia's perspective it makes sense to focus production on the 5060 as that's their best selling card.

Otherwise, this all just sucks.

apparently if nvidia does a profit / operating margin / gb vram calculation then it makes sense only to sell 5090, 5080 16gb, 5070 12gb, & 5060 8gb

so that's probably whats gonna remain on shelves (at inflated prices ofc)

this will correspondingly put pressure on 9070xt which in turn will go out of stock or sold for hyper inflated prices

This is what I feel is happening. I have no data to prove this.
