I kind of feel the same, but it might be due to the 3rd game being perpetually on sale on GOG, along with their age, and at this point, most who are interested have either already bought it or obtained it otherwise. If the rumored upcoming DLC comes out, that could add some more significant sales numbers.

For me, the 1st game was totally under my radar at the time of its release, while I'll never forget buying a physical copy of the special edition for the 2nd game at Target at ~$30-50 (I don't remember anymore, but I know it was up there at the time) and instantly becoming a fan.

For sure, but I really thought I saw $ there. What can I say but that it's been a bit of a rough week on the old noggin. Heck, after doing this post yesterday, was so tired that I spent most of the day binge-watching TV and sleeping in between.

I'm shocked W1 is at 10 million. Game is hella eurojank and frankly just not all that much fun to play. Its exactly the kind of game that would benefit massively from a remake (which is supposed to be in progress). You can see the vision there, the execution however was... rough. A lot of teeth got cut on that game.

Probably riding on super cheap sales and bundles of people who were introduced to the series by W3, sitting undownloaded and unplayed in many a library.

W2 on the other hand is fantastic and in some ways a better game that W3. It's almost like an old school Bioware game with a compact frame, tight narrative, and branching paths based on prior decisions within the same game. It's such a huge step up from W1 its hard to believe one is a direct sequel to the other. It's actually a little disappointing its 'only' at 15 million, likely for the same reason W1, and similarly its likely unplayed by many. It actually holds up incredibly well both visually and gameplay wise even today.

Kinda surprised CP is so low (relatively)

- The pricing on it has remained stubbornly high through the last couple Steam sales and such. If it dropped to a clean $9.99 (like the W3 GOTY edition) then I figure it would be cheap enough for a lot of people to pick up simply out of curiosity.

At the $20+ it still costs now (in addition to $20+ for PL), combined with all the bad press the game got (really for the prior gen versions which shouldn't have existed at all, but also because of the post launch jank in general) I'm actually surprised its not less.
